What doo.mcp is, if you are deciding to buy or to back it
A hosted set of business agents. Commerce and chatbot are live. Calling, the Odoo staff agent, and Notetaker are in beta. MCP is how other AI tools reach them.

On this page
doo.mcp is a hosted workspace of AI agents for a business that already has a store, a website, an Odoo database, or a phone line. MCP, the open tool protocol, is how Claude, Cursor, and your own app can call those agents. The protocol is not the thing being sold. The agents, the channels, and the workspace around them are.
What is live, and what is still beta
Two agents are live. The eCommerce Agent sells from an Odoo 19 catalog in the website chat, and on paid plans over WhatsApp, with a read-only MCP endpoint for your own AI tools. The Chatbot Agent answers from the pages, text, and files you select, on any site, with no store connection.
Both have guides: AI chatbot for Odoo and free website chatbot.
Three are in beta. The Lead Agent calls leads on your Twilio number and can book a meeting. The Odoo Agent lets staff work in Odoo as themselves. Notetaker takes meeting notes from on-screen captions, with no bot on the call. Beta means you can use them, and it also means the page says beta so a buyer is not told they are finished.
How it makes money
Chatbot Agent and eCommerce Agent have a permanent free plan. The free widget shows a small ad. Every paid agent is a separate monthly subscription: a larger allowance, WhatsApp, an ad-free chatbot, calling minutes, the staff agent, or Notetaker. You can buy one and ignore the others. Published prices start at $29 for the chatbot, $99 for eCommerce, $99 for calling, $49 for the Odoo Agent, and $19 for Notetaker. Paid checkout is opening soon. This page does not claim a customer count or a revenue figure.
Why it is not the same as Odoo’s MCP
Odoo can expose the database to Claude for an employee who already has access. That solves a staff problem. doo.mcp’s live wedge is the shopper: a widget on the store, a cart that matches the website, checkout on the merchant’s payment page, and a person on the team when the shopper asks for one. The staff agent is a second product, with the employee’s own rights and an audit log, sold separately.
A generic MCP server can also speak the protocol. It does not include the tenant wall, the encrypted connector, the shopper inbox, the metering, or the channels. Those are the parts a customer is paying to avoid building.
What is deliberately not shipped yet
- Store connectors beyond Odoo 19
- Cart and checkout over MCP. That endpoint stays read-only for now.
- A self-serve wizard for WhatsApp template broadcasts. The backend path exists. The dashboard wizard does not.
- Paid checkout, until it is switched on
If you are a customer, start with the free eCommerce Agent or the free chatbot and read the agent page for the one you need. If you are evaluating the company, the thing to underwrite is a platform of separately sold agents, with commerce live on Odoo and the rest marked exactly as far along as it is.
