The builder turns a website address into a chatbot that answers questions about your business. It is made for a small business site, a help centre, or any page where visitors ask the same things again and again. Here is what happens, from the first paste to a live chat on your site.
Enter your homepage URL. The builder opens your site, follows your sitemap and links on the same site, and reads the pages it finds. You do not upload anything and you do not need an account for this step.
In about two minutes you get a working chatbot with a greeting and sample questions written from your content. Ask it the questions your customers ask. It answers from your pages and says so when it does not know. The preview is kept for 24 hours.
Sign up when you like the answers. The preview moves into your workspace, where you choose which pages the bot may learn from, set its colour and greeting, and copy one script tag into your site.
The Chatbot Agent starts on a permanent Free plan. You can train it and put it on your site the same day. Paid plans start at $29 a month. They raise the allowance, add a lead form, a domain lock, image search, and voice notes, and remove the ad. You can stay on Free until those limits get in the way.
For the full list of limits, read the free website chatbot guide. If you run an Odoo store, the AI chatbot for Odoo guide covers the shopper bot that searches your live catalog.
This chatbot answers questions. It does not read a live product catalog, share a shopping cart, or take orders. Those are jobs for the eCommerce Agent, which needs an Odoo 19 store. A visitor who wants a person cannot reach one from this chatbot widget yet, but you can read every thread in the inbox and the paid lead form collects contact details for a follow-up.
